✅ What’s Included:

• Full engine removal, strip-down, inspection, rebuild and reinstallation.
• Replacement of critical internals (e.g. rings, bearings, gaskets, seals, timing belt/chain).
• Chemical cleaning of block, head, and components.
• Refitting and resealing of all components using OEM-grade gaskets/sealants.
• Road testing and diagnostics upon completion.

❗ What’s NOT Included (Out of Scope):

• Turbochargers, fuel system components (injectors, high-pressure fuel pump), ECUs, wiring, sensors — additional charges apply if required.
• Clutches, gearboxes, flywheels, or DPFs — not part of the engine rebuild scope.
• Replacement of damaged cylinder head, piston(s), connecting rod, crankshaft, or sump — additional charges apply.
• Head skim and pressure testing — additional charges apply.
• Remapping or tuning issues — ECU must be returned to stock configuration before rebuild.
• Customer-supplied parts unless pre-approved — no warranty provided.
• External damage not related to engine operation (e.g. cracked sump due to impact).
• Labour for removal/refit at third-party garages — not covered if engine is sent loose.
• Vehicles received in non-running/non-cranking condition — assessment is limited to visible engine health on arrival.

🕑 Timeframe:

• Typical parts delivery: 14 working days (subject to availability).
• Typical rebuild turnaround: 7–14 working days post parts arrival.

Note: Delays may occur due to:

• Parts backorders or shipping delays
• Machine shop workload
• Vehicle complexity or unforeseen internal damage

🛠️ Customer Responsibility:

• Ensure vehicle is delivered in a safe, accessible, and serviceable condition.
• Fully disclose any symptoms or known issues prior to drop-off.
• Read and understand our warranty terms before work commences.

🔒 Agreement Confirmation:

• You acknowledge and understand what is and isn’t included in the rebuild process.
• You accept that additional charges may arise once the engine is disassembled and further issues are uncovered.
• You authorise Autobits to proceed with the engine rebuild as outlined above.

✅ What’s Covered:

• Internal engine components rebuilt or replaced by Autobits (e.g. rings, bearings, gaskets, seals if included).
• OEM-grade parts used during the rebuild process.
• Labour relating to the engine rebuild and reinstallation performed by Autobits.

❌ What’s NOT Covered:

• Turbochargers, injectors, fuel pumps, water pumps, ECUs, wiring, sensors.
• Clutches, flywheels, gearboxes, DPFs – these are outside the engine rebuild scope.
• Boost pipes, coolant hoses, fuel system parts – the engine will be at full strength after the rebuild; tired downstream components may not cope.
• Any car that has had the DPF modified or removed before or after the rebuild.
• Any car that has had the ECU remapped or tuned outside of the original spec.
• External labour or work done by third-party garages.

🛠️ Damage Not Covered:

• Issues caused by increased pressure from the rebuilt engine (e.g. boost pipe or coolant hose failure).
• Overheating, turbo failure, fuel injector or pump failure.
• Oil starvation or oil pump failure.
• Use of incorrect or contaminated fluids.
• User negligence, racing, or tuning-related issues.
• Customer-supplied parts – no warranty is provided on these.
• Any remapping or software modification after rebuild – this voids the warranty.

⚠️ Warranty Conditions:

• The engine must be properly run-in — avoid high RPM/load for the first 2,000 km.
• Oil & filter changes must be completed at:
  • 300 km – non-synthetic oil. Garage receipt required.
  • 1,000 km – 5W30 fully synthetic VAG-spec oil. Garage receipt required.
  • 1,500 km – same as above.
  • 2,000 km – same as above.
• Vehicle must be serviced regularly with manufacturer-recommended oils and parts.
• Any suspected fault must be reported immediately. Continued use may void the warranty.
• Warranty does not cover recovery or third-party labour/diagnostic costs.

📆 Warranty Period:

3 months or 5,000 km from vehicle collection — whichever comes first.

🔍 How to Claim:

• Stop using the vehicle immediately if you suspect a fault.
• Contact Autobits with your registration and issue description.
• Bring the vehicle back to us as soon as possible.
• If the fault is covered, we’ll repair it at no cost.
• If it’s not covered, we’ll quote for the required work.
